Tech Business Incubator Workshop

Calling all Tech Entrepreneurs! Do you have an idea that uses technology to improve a current process or make life easier? Come and learn how to put that idea into action at this FREE workshop on technology-led entrepreneurship led by entrepreneur and mentor John Raymond.

Washington State University’s technology incubator, SP3NW, is excited to announce its partnership with the Tri County Economic Development District (TEDD) to empower technology entrepreneurs in Northeast Washington’s rural communities and tribal lands. The core mission is to create connections for local tech-focused entrepreneurs to access valuable business support resources within their communities and tap into the offerings provided by SP3NW, all while promoting growth that reflects the unique character of each place.

As part of this initiative, a new program called ‘Get Started’ will be launched. This program will focus on educating potential technology entrepreneurs in the region, guiding them through the ideation process, and providing insights into what it takes to successfully launch and grow a startup.

If you have an idea that utilizes technology to enhance existing processes or improve daily life, we invite you to join us on Tuesday, October 17, at 5:00 pm. The event will take place at the TEDD office in Colville. During this event, you can participate in a FREE workshop on technology-led entrepreneurship led by entrepreneur and mentor John Raymond.

John Raymond brings a wealth of experience to the table, including 11 years building PowerIT, a national edtech company with clients across 25 states. He has served as a mentor with regional and national startup accelerators, including Capital Factory, DivInc, and Village Capital. John has also judged competitions like the Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition and SxSW. He even founded an accelerator, ImpactLab, with a mission to introduce entrepreneurial methods and attitudes into K-12 education.

In addition to the workshop, SP3NW is actively seeking four pre-revenue technology startups to provide them with nine months of intensive support, valued at $7,500, through an SP3NW membership. This comprehensive support package includes various benefits such as access to coworking spaces, personalized coaching, educational resources, networking opportunities, and preparation for fundraising.

Could your business benefit from this incredible opportunity? We encourage you to attend the workshop to learn more about the program and the extensive support SP3NW can offer.
